SMS Notifications dont show the message on the lock screen or notification panel

Hi
I want to be able to read my sms messages without unlocking my phone.

Pixel 9 Pro XL.
Latest GOS update.#
Using main user profile as the admin to install apps.
Using a 2nd user profile as my daily driver.
New install, just setting things up and installing apps.

I have it setup as:
Notifications on lock screen > Show notifications on Lock Screen.
Compact.
Show Sensitive Content.

On the lock screen and pull down notification panel I get:
"New Message" with the SMS app logo.
If i have multiple, and press the down arrow, i just see multiple "New Message"

WhatsApp works fine and i can read the messages on the lock screen and unlocked pull down notification bar.

I'm experiencing the same issue. So I made QUICK my default SMS app and activated message content in the lock screen in the QUICK setting. Hiding message content in lock screen seems to be by design in the GrapheneOS messaging app.
