How to Isolate as much as possible google on a secondary profile ?

As the title says, i'm looking to isolate everything google related as much as I can by putting all of this stuff in a secondary profile.

I've read that installing the google-bundle (GmsCompatConfig, Google Play services and Google Play store) from the GOS app store on the owner profile and the using apps on the secondary profile via the app share settings was the way to go, but I feel like i'm not understanding something.

If I install the google-bundle on the Owner profile, doesn't that mean that google will stay active no matter what ? as the owner profile constantly runs in the background ?

Or do I need to install the google bundle via app share settings on the second profile too ?

My goal is to have a profile where everything google related is turned off and locked when I close the session.

Also, will that block notifications ? (sorry i'm asking so many things but i'm quite lost to be honest)

Yes, unless you disable it. But then you won't be getting updates.

It's not clear what "that" is. If your Google profile is shutdown, you won't be getting notifications from there.

Of course.

No...it just means you can't (or rather, don't) make the apps available from owner. You have to go through the actual download & install process in each profile , even though it will just end up overwriting the existing app with the same (or maybe newer) version. It's a bit more cumbersome, that's all.

I have two GOS instalations, my daily driver has a google free owner profile with google dependant stuff in private space.

The other uses the owner profile to load apps and push to secondary users. I keep Google play and play services disabled, every few days enabling them to download the updates and then redisabling them. So I don't have gps running in the background the whole time.

Why do you have your other device set up differently? Advantages/disadvantages to either one?
