@Winston Your comment about smartphone reference is disturbing. I am concerned that folks might get the wrong idea. The problem with any digital environment is that the hardware/software might be spying on a person. A so-called smartphone is a hundred times more likely to do so than a little flip-phone because it has so many more confusing settings to worry about and one can never be sure.
This is the hole purpose of GrapheneOS. It is an attempt at taking control of the mess that is the Android software. The very reason that Google got their gnarled claws into Android in the first place is to control others.
Compounding that is the fact that Android forces a human being to think in unnatural ways. This is damaging to the mind and should be avoided.
All we ever needed was a simple way to make and receive a phone call from wherever we are. Anything else needs a different device, such as a tablet or notebook computer running Linux. We either do serious work with a proper digital device or we should just leave it alone.
