Pixel locks, when it is upside down

Hello,
My Pixel locks as soon as it is with the screen down, doubly stupid if you are doing something in private space. A short research and search in the settings did not turn up anything.
Any Ideas if this can be turned off?

J5Dsy3gyjYd4335Y I don't think this is a GrapheneOS feature. Perhaps some app was installed that exhibits that behavior?

It's similar to the feature that GrapheneOS disabled in version 2025012600, but instead of extending the screen timeout to reduce security for potential convenience, this one reduces potential convenience for better security. I discovered this feature by seeing someone mention it on the GrapheneOS GitHub some time ago :)

J5Dsy3gyjYd4335Y So it seems as if there is not a setting for enabling/disabling turning the screen off when the phone is flipped, but there is a setting for whether or not the screen turning off immediately locks the phone.

de0u It seems that holding the phone flat with the screen downwards, even if nothing obscures the proximity sensor or if you hold it in your hand (which is less stable than resting on an object I guess), makes the screen timeout effectively ten seconds. I'm not aware of any settings to change this. Does this info help reproduce it?

Watermelon Ok, now I am at risk of pulling a muscle in my neck from holding my phone above my head and looking at the screen.

I have been able to reproduce that some patterns of flipping the phone face-down, perhaps when also moving it downward as if toward a surface, cause the screen to blank -- in Vanadium, the built-in Clock app, and in Settings. But, for me so far, this does not lock the device. If I flip it back up, or tap the screen twice, etc., then the screen is not locked. This is with my screen timeout set to two minutes.

I don't even hold it up, I just hold it in my hand and observe the screen's light dimming after about 3 to 5 seconds, and turning off 10 seconds after flipping.
