Hello everyone,
I have a few questions about using the Pixel Camera on my Google Pixel 10 Pro:
First, I have noticed that the images and videos taken by the Pixel Camera get the wrong timestamp as their filenames. For example, I shot a picture at 13:21, but its filename would always display "PXL...1221...", so one hour earlier. Is there any reason for this? The GOS camera uses the correct time. If it's not changeable, I could change the filename afterwards with a script on my PC. But is it also possible directly in GOS with a FOSS app?
Second, the quality of the videos of the Pixel Camera is really great. Nonetheless, Google seems to have features which are only available behind a Google account (e.g. nightsight-videos and 8K videos). You can capture the videos with those features enabled, but after recording them and viewing them in my internet-disabled Google Photos gallery, it says that I'd need an Internet connection to use these features. I wonder if it still makes a difference recording videos in nightsight-mode oder 8K or if it is all server-side. Additionally, are there FOSS apps for such editing?
