Recommend PDF App with Search

Since the stock GOS PDF Viewer app doesn't have a search function (and it doesn't look like it will be added anytime soon), I'm looking for recommendations for one that does. Anyone have any suggestions?

PDF, EPUB, MOBI, CBZ, FB2, XPS, TXT, HTML, OFFICE(DOCX,XLSX,PPTX) and ZIP/GZIP

I've seen MuPDF on obtanium, but not sure if its FOSS or anything.

MuPDF works quite well and has search functionality. Unfortunately, it's not possible to select and copy text.

Yep, that's the only thing I really miss :-( I tried other apps but came back to MuPDF because on big or complex documents with lots of vector drawings it's blazing fast to render, zoom and scroll where all others are noticeably slower.

Yep, it's nice and very fast (based on MuPDF) but I wish it would not try to connect to api.github.com upon every invocation :-( Probably to check updates or something which is harmless but nonetheless, I hate when apps phone home.

I use Droid-ify, Obtainium and the like precisely to avoid apps to do updates on their own... <sigh>
