Charging optimisation (seemingly) not working

Hi all!

I've been using Graphene since April or May on my Pixel 9A. I've always used charging optimisation, so the battery never charged above 80% except for every 1-2 weeks where it charges to full, as it is supposed to.

I've recently noticed (perhaps in the last few weeks) that the feature simply just doesn't seem to work now, and the phone charges straight to 100% every time. Does anyone know why this may be, or how it could be fixed? Thanks!

cleanbowtie I am not personally aware of current problems with charging optimization. When it goes to 100%, what happens if you let it sit that way for a long time (hours)? Does a shield icon appear?

I'm seeing exactly the same problem. "Limit to 80%" is selected for battery optimisation under battery settings, but the battery continues to charge once 80% is reached - I just unplugged it from charge because it had reached 92% and was still charging. Build number is shown as 2026011301 - updated earlier today.

Maybe you could let it reach the 100 percent and then let it sit plugged in for 20 minutes, in order for it to complete its calibration?

In order for calibration to work phone must charge to 100% and then a little while until shield appears on battery icon - then it's calibrated and will obey 80% charging limit. Not before.
