Stuck in a loading loop - turning on and off

Hi guys,

I'm new to GrapheneOS, I installed it on a Pixel 8 PRO, and sat it aside for a couple of weeks while I waited for the new case to arrive in the mail. everything was working fine, I downloaded the apps that I use and everything was good.

The case arrived today and I have been trying to turn the phone on so I can use it however it comes up with the screen that says the phone is trying to load a different operating software, press power button to pause, then it goes to the google screen and then the grapheneOS loading screen. It sits on that for a minute or so and then turns off and does this all over again.

I've tried powering it down, it turns off after about 13-14 seconds of holding the power button down and then turns itself on again.

I've been looking all over the internet trying to find answers but with no luck. Does anyone have a solution to this issue?

northblue The first thing to try is to tap the power button to pause it on the bootloader screen, then charge it for at least half an hour before trying to boot.
