For people who live alone and do not have a fixed daily routine such as school or work, medical problems can sometimes go unnoticed for long periods of time. This is often the case for healthy pensioners. For the elderly, there are alarm buttons that can be worn on the wrist. But there are people who do not want a smartwatch or an alarm like the ones used in retirement homes. The cost of such systems is also not insignificant. And not all children want to call their (grand)parents twice a day for no reason, just to check on them.
Is there a way to use the mobile phone that is already available? Similar to the auto-reboot function, it would send a message to relatives if there was no activity for x hours.
I would prefer a solution that guarantees privacy and data protection for those being monitored. In other words, one that works without the cloud and only contacts emergency contacts if the phone is inactive for too long.
