Tbh I'm probably still going to use the Lockscreen Widgets app for stuff like a weather widget, as it offers far more customizability, especially with resizing and position. But this is neat to keep in mind too!

Is there anyone having trouble getting it to work at all? I've enabled lock screen widgets in settings, but swiping in either direction on the lock screen does absolutely nothing. No widget adding menu, not even an animation.

Is it a (known) bug?

This is on a Pixel 10a, GOS build 2026042101.

shapirus working good on my Pixel 9a. Last I checked, the 10a was still experimental, so could be an issue with just the 10a right now

@shapirus latest release should fix it;

fully enable lockscreen widget support by default to avoid the swipe gesture being missing for the Pixel 10a and the whole feature being missing for the emulator

Nuttso So I’m curious: which widgets are you using on your lock screen? At the moment, I’m only running a single one there TradingView.

So far:

Breezy Weather 5-day forecast
Fossify Calendar month view
Audile music recognition (tap to recognize)
GadgetBridge status and alarms

and I'm just getting started. Can anyone recommend a calculator app that has a widget and is in F-Droid?

it works! i wasn't getting the OTA update and couldn't understand why until i switched to the beta channel, then it worked.
