Google Maps can't detect location

Weird thing is hapening for me since update that was about 2 months ago:
Google Maps cannot detect location when trying to navigate. The only solution is to kill the task, enter the app again and it works then. Does anyone have similar problem. I've given all the needed permissions, it just won't work in the first attempt. It's Pixel 7.

psyhead This was the problem: Have you got Google Play Services installed on your device? If so, go to Settings > Apps > Sandboxed Google Play, and make sure you have enabled Reroute location requests to the OS.

I have nothing called "sandboxed google play", just "google play services" and nothing like "Reroute location requests to the OS" ?!?!?

Not in the list of apps. Toward the bottom of the screen, under "General".

Aah, thanks.
I'm trying to use the Alpha Taxis App, it's just kept searching for my location, so I've turned on location services for the google play services otherwise it couldn't find my location even with Reroute location requests to the OS turned on.

Also if you haven't you have to enable location services in settings.
