Installing Graphene OS / eSIM?

I would like to install Graphene OS on my Pixel 9a, but I have some doubts about how to manage the eSIM.

I am currently using the default Google system with an eSIM that is activated and functional.

What should I do before installing Graphene OS:

Do nothing. Once Graphene OS is installed, the eSIM will be recognized and functional.
Deactivate/delete the eSIM from the phone before installing Graphene OS. Activate the eSIM once Graphene OS is installed.

It all revolves around, have you the QR code for your eSIM and does your provider allow you to reinstall the eSIM from the QR code, that has been used.
One of my two eSIM providers allows three installs, while the other has no restriction.

eSIMs are not deleted when installing GrapheneOS (or reverting to stock OS).

If the eSIM is already working prior to installing GrapheneOS, no additional steps are required.

This is not necessary.

It is only needed to install an eSIM (or whatever other actions, if any, fall under "managing"). It is not needed use an eSIM that was already installed.
