Hello GrapheneOS - magnificent work it is💪💪💪.
Some banking applications, although can work fine, mandate autofilling OTP from SMS (for bank security), close keyboard and block focus of the OTP input box.
I'm reading that "Google Play Services" should be enabled and have SMS (and Phone?) Permissions granted. I also found 2 more settings about autofill (System > On-screen Keyboard > Autofill with Google and Password, Passkeys & Accounts > Preferred service > Google) and enabled them. In addition to this, I also found more related settings under Apps > Sandboxed Google Play > Google Settings > All services > Verification codes by SMS > Autofill codes in apps and sites and enabled it also. Still my Pixel 8a seems to fail to auto-read and autofill the OTP.
Has anybody else gotten this to work?
I also tried connecting a physical keyboard to my phone and inputting the OTP manually, but focus was blocked and focusing the OTP input box was impossible.
