Nuttso I understand your opinion and I can agree that this app is not appropriate for fighting the most advanced adversaries. I clearly stated in the limitatitons section that using root can make user more vulnerable and that this app can't patch some low-level security holes. I am not sure about how vulnerable are ADB over wi-fi or device owner over Dhizuku, may be I should add some warnings about them too.
However, I think that there are scenarios when this app can be really helpful. It will certainly protect user's data if the usual police officer unarmed with Cellebrite UFED device or any other advanced hacking tools will ask him to unlock his phone during some protest or police raid or whatever. As far as I know from news, cops in my country are usually not that smart to hack devices - they just ask password from phone upon arrest. App will protect users data against cryminals or abusive partners or other adversaries without any access to advanced hacking tech. App will also irreversibly and inconspicuously delete user's data if he will be quick and sneaky enough to press power button several times in row in the pocket, meaning that app will at least create some problems even for the most advanced attackers if they will obtain device too late. IMHO such scenarios are more likely for the average person to encounter than their phone being taken away quickly and hacked by antiforensic experts in 3-letter agencies.
I can also agree that the best protection is OS-level plausible deniability. And there are some pretty good examples of such OS, but almost nobody cares and actually uses such systems because they are not maintained, there are no prebuilt images and not everyone can even afford hardware to build Android OS from source. I don't have enough free time for creating and, most importantly, maintaining custom OS, but it will be really nice if someone will do it and I will be glad to support such an effort.
