Absolutely not a non-issue.
In my case for example I am not even able to use the desktop site of my bank because the banking app is the one generating the OTP.
I cannot register the banking app on GOS due to the fact the SMS received is not auto-filled in the app (and there is no manual input).
At this point it seem that I will have to go back to the stock OS if no technical solution is found.
