Why is one of my installed apps not "installed"?

It is one of the strangest things. I've got QUIK SMS installed from F Droid. Yet if I go to app info, theres no Store section, saying where it was installed from. If I search for it on F Droid, it says "Install", like I don't even have it. I uninstalled and reinstalled QUIK and that fixed it, but this made me curious why it happened. The app wasn't on the latest update, so thats how I noticed. Its strange.

Only thing that comes to mind: Have you used another F-Droid client before your current one, installed QUIK with it, then uninstalled this other client and installed the current client?
What happens if you hit "install"?

No, I've been using the same F Droid client since I've started using GrapheneOS

It just kept "waiting" and not doing anything.

Did you install it in another profile? There is only ever one copy of an app installed, but if it's not active on a given profile then it'll be hidden and 'install' just reactivates or updates the existing app.

For apps pushed from one profile to another for me the installation source is correct, but maybe if you don't also have the installer app on that profile it could be blank?

No, I've only ever had it in my Owner Profile. Thats why I found this super strange.

They recently changed their signing keys.
Can this be a reason for your problems? As I understand it, this will prevent the app from being upgraded to the next version.

Oggyo that could be it. I read the change log now and that seems it could be what it is.
