Password attempts

Hi, I’m pretty new to the Android ecosystem and even less the graphene one. I have a set password to my phone and a fingerprint along with enter to confirm rather than automatic unlock. But for some reason there are unlimited attempts to unlock the phone. In the password settings there is no option to set a number of attempts before it puts a count down to try again, it just lets you guess until you find it. Any idea how to fix it?

Im on a pixel 9 pro if it helps at all

Ok solved, I was just bump. It works if you try different password combinations and not just spam a specific one
