Cross user notifications

I have a problem with notifications from multiple users on graphene. I am mainly using the owner profile with Google sand box active. I have downloaded and disabled Instagram in that profile. But in the secondary it’s installed throw the app searing feature. I have given to it and Google play services unrestricted background access. But it’s a mystery if any notifications will be forwarded to the owner profile. The “send notifications to current user” is enabled in both profiles. Some times it works, some does not. For example it wasn’t working before I was writing this post but it worked just a moment ago. Any ideas what to do to make it work

I haven’t changed any system file, the installation is younger than a week old.
I’m using a Pixel 9 Pro

Make sure you have cleared any existing notifications from your second profile. As all those notifications are bundled together, even if they come from different apps, if you have one already showing you won't get further notifications from other apps because the owner groups it with the existing uncleared notification.

Also don't run a third profile, as if you do the second one will be paused (AOSP limitation).

The AOSP limit is 3 running profiles (so the fourth would cause one to be ended), and this has been raised in GrapheneOS since 2024111700.

raise maximum running users from the standard 3 to 4 for 6GB memory, 6 for 8GB memory, 10 for 12GB memory and 14 for 16GB memory
