Battery % off in status bar, drop-down brightness not working

Hi,
I've been using GrapheneOS for years since I had a Pixel 3A. I've been using on my Pixel 9 Pro since last year. This is the first time I've ever seen issues like this but they started after last update.

Battery % shown in status bar is not synced with the actual batter % (found by entering Settings -> Battery percentage)
Brightness drop-down not working - I have to enter Settings -> Brightness level.

This isn't affecting overall functionality but is super annoying and is the first time I've experienced issues that make using GrapheneOS feel like a tradeoff.

This is concerning.
Use your Auditor app and check device integrity.
Have Adb or Shizuku been used at any time, for any reason?
Developer options should be turned OFF.

Yes, I believe so, I have updated several times (with the auto updates) and the problem persists, currently on 20251225.

What would be the issue with my device? Hardware?

I just figured that it was the OS because the sliders and readings inside the settings menu still work, just not the status bar and shortcuts. Also it started on the update with all of the style changes.

If you want to do this as a test, back up your data and reinstall stock Pixel OS. If the issue is still there, its most definitely hardware related. If it goes away, reflash GrapheneOS and see if its still there on GrapheneOS.
