remove the google cast icon

when i swipe down to see notifications i see a icon under the toggle to allow or not allow position i see a icon that if clicked says "no device connected" and if i click info it brings me to google cast options. i've tried to remove and reinstall sandboxed google play but the icon won't go away please help

Those are quick setting tiles. You can modify or remove any of them

Delaney OK thanks so i removed the icon but does that still mean that google cast or whatever it is is still doing stuff in the background?

Under Settings -> Connected devices -> Connection preferences you can enable/disable lots of types of connections. Although, it seems there is no toggle for Google Cast... Is sandboxed GPS required?

i think yes but i may be wrong because i never checked without sandboxed GPS installed
