How to revert to an older graphical design?

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm not tech savvy and i couldn't find an answer with google.

The most recent stable update of graphene os changed some designs and frankly I hate them (there is no accounting for tastes :D). Namly the little symbols on the top of the screen, but also the lock screen, login screen, the swipe down menu and so on. I really loved the previous design, it was so elegant and minimalistic. The new design makes me think of a cheap clunky toy.
Can somebody help me? Is there a way to revert to the old design, without going back to an older version of graphene os?

In theory somebody with the resources of an Android OEM could build and maintain an Android variant which contained the structural and security improvements of A16 QPR2 and the UI appearance of A16 QPR1, but it would be a lot of work. Most OEMs with a custom UI layer "pay" for this work, in part, by being behind on security updates.

Don't know if you can revert to the old UI but you can try a different launcher, there's quite a few good minimalistic launchers out there. Just my two cents.

Ask Google devs for it, it is their design.

Thanks a lot, to all the replies. I wasn't aware that the design comes from google, as I've never seen it on anybody's phone. I thought it was part of Graphene OS.
