raccoondad To expand for those curious, I do extensive highlighting and short note taking. Using koreader across devices and syncing your local folders lets you access this info easily, as well as plugins for e.g. Obsidian that can import notes and highlights as they grow.
It also has support for Wallabag and downloading Wikipedia articles as ePub and so on, and you can drop individually fetched reading content (articles downloaded to epub or similar) in and read/highlight those.
It provides a very nice unified and transferrable reading experience with few distractions and high ability to organize your reading.
Edit: there is also a Zotero plugin, but you have to use Zotero's proprietary cloud sync. So instead you could use something like zotfile and sync locally
