Uninstall Browser? Separate root/user accounts?

I am considering moving from the Punkt MP02 to Pixel and GrapheneOS. I have one simple question and one longer question about GrapheneOS.

First, is it possible to remove / excise the web browser from the phone entirely?

The second question has to do with using an administrator/root account and a user account on the same phone. I would like to have a user account on the phone that cannot install any apps at all, and/or not have access to certain apps. If I need to install anything, I could use the root account. Is this straightforward or at least possible with GrapheneOS?

For context, I do something like this on my laptop. On my laptop, I have a root account with a password that I can't memorize and my own user account. All of this has helped me manage my ADHD.

The alternatives I see are (a) getting an iPhone and a mac mini to lock down the iPhone as though it were a fleet phone with Apple Configurator or (b) continuing with my Punkt MP02.

Sort of, but it might not be very convenient to use.

You can create secondary user that doesn't have the ability to install apps.

The problem is that the owner user always has to be logged in first. Every time you reboot, you will need to enter the owner password before you can unlock a secondary user.

no. you can disable it so it doesn't appear, but cannot fully delete it.

for the second question, i believe you could set something similar up, but you would have to go through the 'root' user profile each time you restarted the phone. someone can correct me if i'm wrong

This is very helpful, thank you. Does the owner user only have to log in on reboot, or must owner also log in e.g. after the phone wakes up from sleep?

Might I also ask if it is possible to restrict which apps a secondary user has access to? e.g. is it possible to block a secondary user from using a browser?
