Just installed GOS and have an issue with opening google play.
I installed on 12/19/2025 with a google pixel 9 with the error message after tapping (sign in) on google play store
(something went wrong)
(you don't have an network connection)
(This could be a temporary problem. try again or connect to another Wi-Fi network)
I have tried restarting multiple times and fiddling around with app permissions.
I have also tried finding an apk on the web but doesn't seem to work (didn't put too much time into this one for fear of viruses)
if there are alternatives I'm open to them as well but I cant seem to install anything on official chanels
