Inability to connect to the internet through a router, hotspot or mobile data

I am still quite inexperienced with software, but know some basics.
This afternoon, so the 17th of December 2025, my Google Pixel 7a lost its ability to load data from the internet, even if it had a strong connection and through multiple mediums. It has the build number 2025120401. I would be more than thankful for any and all help.

First thought is that its a VPN issue

Setting>Network & Internet>VPN>Block Connections Without VPN.

Make sure that's toggled off if you aren't logged into a VPN (or if you're using tailscale without an exit node selected)

I'm connected through a VPN and turning the setting off doesn't help.
