screen waking up when it should not

Hi. I have "Wake screen for notifications" disabled. Despite that, every so often, I'll see my screen wake up on its own, for seemingly no reason.
I don't think this is a P9a-specific issue or a GOS-specific issue, but I thought I'd ask here anyway.
Do other folks have this issue, and what would be a solution to this?

jimbob this is an issue I've been trying to solve for a while now. Still haven't figured it out.

Try turn off both 'lift to check phone' and 'tap to check phone'.
Maybe also 'Device controls without unlocking'

"Lift to check phone" is disabled, "Tap to check phone" is disabled, "Use device controls" is disabled, "Wake screen for notifications" is disabled.
Not sure what additional info/tips to try are in the other thread?
