I'm just trying out Graphene on my Pixel Tablet, and I immediately noticed an odd gesture pill on the TOP in the middle of the STATUS BAR. I'm not talking about the bottom gesture bar, questions have been answered about that. This is something new and I've never seen it before, it definitely is not there in the standard Android 16 I switched from.
It doesn't appear on the home screen, but appears when you load any app, including Settings... and I hate it. I don't know what it's called or where it came from. I hate the bottom bar, too, but having it in BOTH places is just beyond the pale. I do not understand the point in having these ugly useless distractions in the UI. Is there any way to remove this ugly status bar pill?
