App keeps crashing - Chrono from F-Droid

Hey there,

I am using GrapheneOS on a Pixel 9a. My sleep is deep, so I need some PROPER alarms. I found Chrono (https://f-droid.org/packages/com.vicolo.chrono/) to help me with that. The app is downloaded from F-Droid. After downloading it it works for some time, but refuses to open after some time working just fine.

Sometimes I get a notification that the app keeps crashing, sometimes not. When it works fine after downloading, alarms etc. work perfectly fine.

I have set battery usage to unrestricted, set everything as the app instructs when starting it for the first time and nothing helps. Enabling/disabling "exploit protection compatibility mode" does not change anything.

Would highly appreciate your help with this!
Note that I have some technical knowledge (how to get logs etc.) but I do not have any idea what to look for and how to fix it.

u12308ds1h2133sd What I see on F-Droid is version 0.6.0 (i.e., less than 1.0, so maybe not "done"), last updated almost a year ago, and targeting a very low API level.

Overall, I think it would be best to consult the app author.

Been looking for a math-alarm with adjustable difficulty ever since ending rooting my phones. Thank you.

Now, if and when it crashes, that app has built-in logging of both the app activities, and the alarms.
