Also if I swipe up to all apps and start dragging the same app out I can have 10 versions of the same app. So maybe it's related to that. I use to obtainium to get apps. Its not to much of a bother because I just delete the extra images of the app but good to know for developers.
OK just rebooted again and the issue is gone. It seemed to have happen after each update.
