My sense is that it is too soon to speculate about this.
It has not been ruled out. In fact, I think I recall a statement from the project that "additional form factors" may be considered in the future. (However, it seems like smaller form factors are more frequently requested here than tablets. Laptops too.)
Right now though, the very first device is not going to happen until 2027. We'll probably have to see how that goes before anyone can say anything about additional devices.
