The people who want headphone jacks, removable batteries, and microSD card slots really and truly want those things.
Unfortunately, the likelihood that the first round of Motorola partner devices will have those features is essentially 0%. The devices will be flagship devices that Motorola is already planning to manufacture, with firmware changes such as relockable bootloaders. Unless Motorola is already planning to manufacture flagship devices next year with headphone jacks, removable batteries, and/or microSD card slots (which seems genuinely very unlikely), the partnership devices will not have those features.
There is no sign at all that Motorola has asked the GrapheneOS project whether the GrapheneOS user community is interested in headphone jacks, removable batteries, and/or microSD card slots.
Even if 100% of the GrapheneOS user community wanted those features enough to buy a Motorola device in the first year, that would probably not be a substantial fraction of Motorola's expected yearly sales.
Maybe someday some of those features will return (perhaps someday physical keyboards might return as well). But it seems at least as likely that the way to get there would be lobbying Motorola on Instagram, rather than lobbying on the GrapheneOS forum. This isn't where the decison-makers are.
