So someone in my family had their phone not boot, message was device is corrupted... and then it would loop.
I just got home to investigate it and to try and fix it. Its a pixel 8, I think (a wild guess) the battery was drained at some point during the upgrade. Anyways I thought the device was finished as I could hold power and one of the volume buttons to get to recovery mode. The message was "No Command" and a image of green android with red triangle I believe. Well this is for anybody else in this spot, you have to according to grok: "Device in recovery but no action selected. Press Power + Volume Up briefly to access recovery menu."
I completely missed this and was working trying to execute adb and fastboot commands from desktop. In the end I was able to wipe device and all was fine. Hope what grok said to do helps you if you have device corrupted message like me. I thought the phone was finished. whew
