Pixel 9a - not receiving large group chat messages

I'm getting smaller group chat messages just fine (between 3 and 5 people). Any group chat from about 5 - 20 I simply don't get the messages.

Things I've tried, to no avail:
• RCS messaging like Textra or Google Messages
• uninstalling/reinstalling RCS apps
• restarting phone
• adjusting permissions (I could have missed something here)

I'm running a standard install of GOS. I haven't rooted it or anything like that. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

Google Messages is your only RCS app. Have you been switching between it and Textra? Anytime RCS disconnects it makes a mess of group chats.

And/or RCS could be breaking as it's been doing since September for many, but not all Graphene users. This is likely what's happening, particularly if your carrier is T-mobile or an MVNO such as Mint.

The best info you're going to get is in the RCS 'megathread' where you'll find a workaround or two that might get RCS working if it stopped.

Thank you for the info. I do in fact use Mint, so that could be a Major factor. I'll take a look at the megathread.

Is there a non broken link of how to download the apk for Google messages app when it did work for T mobile? The link in thread appears to be dead.
