For the past month or two, I've been unable to open the RT website at rt dot com in the browser. I'm currently running Vanadium 143.0.7499.52.0 on Stable release channel on a 9a.

I use a VPN which bypassed ISP blocks in Europe when l was there, and am still able to access the site on other devices. I'm outside Europe now, still using VPN but the issue persists whether via wifi or data connection.

malformedtinsmith that can be due to they banned vpn endpoints. have you tried to open it with brave browser?

DeletedUser471 I can open it using Brave on other devices, prefer not to install Brave on phone if possible. I'm fairly sure they don't block VPN and I don't permit javascripts by default in any case.

malformedtinsmith I checked it out of curiosity – with vpn and vanadium browser site rejects connection, without vpn and vanadium browser site allows connection, I'm not in country that issued sanctions against russia, though. so this site is under eu sanctions, so it can be blocked by endpoint isp, try change server country.

I confirm there's no issue with vanadium for this site.

Same behaviour now, thank you.

So VPN on Firefox on desktop was not blocked, but same VPN on Vanadium was blocked. No issue with Vanadium but interesting to note it's being handled differently.
