Is GrapheneOS going bye-bye?

9Reaper That video is 5 months old. Since then the GrapheneOS team has made many releases including experimental support for the Pixel 10.

The GrapheneOS web site is a much better source of official information about the project than random YouTube videos, especially old ones.

9Reaper GrapheneOS is definitely NOT going to die. As de0u said, they now have (experimental) support for the Pixel 10, and GrapheneOS has got us to Android 16. GrapheneOS is going strong!

de0u ok, good to hear ..I haven't bought my new pixel yet but with tech evolving and changing so fast, I didn't want to spend money on something that was going to be useless in 6 months...Thanks for setting me straight.

nandohyphen1 To be clear, GrapheneOS got 16 QPR1, and are working on QPR2.

9Reaper I’d say if you’re going to get a pixel at least get an 8 or 9 since that’s when you’ll get the most life out of it with updates with GOS. But since Google has been punks lately and Graphene has decided to go with a different phone manufacturer, it’s up to you if you want to wait for the announcement of who they’ll go with or just get a pixel. GOS wouldn’t be the type to just abandon ship for those who have an Pixel even when moving to a new company eventually.

Not only that but we got both QPR1 and QPR2 out before any other major GMS licensed OEM too. (Other than Google of course. Although we're further ahead on security patches than them as well.)
