Hi there! Was anyone able to get a "Fahrzeugschein" issued and downloaded in the app i-Kfz?
The app can be used in Germany to get a digital copy of a vehicle registration certificate. This is valid to show during inspections to replace the original paper.
The authentication works via ID card and checks if there is a vehicle registered in your name. For me it works up to this point. It shows in the status bar that the authentication worked and that the registration certificate (Fahrzeugschein) will be downloaded.
After a few seconds while "downloading certificate" the app shows an "unexpected error" and asks to retry later. I tried it a couple of times to far within some weeks with the same result. App version is 1.1.0.
The app log doesn't show any obvious error. Google Play Services are not installed in that profile.
Did anyone get this to work? It's a bit tough to test because you need to live in Germany and own a car. Still, happy to hear about your experiences.
