GrapheneOS System Level Backup Restore

Hello,
With border controls increasingly encroaching on personal privacy, I’m researching system-level backups for GrapheneOS but haven’t found a feasible approach. Rooted devices can be backed up in one go, but GrapheneOS doesn’t support or recommend rooting.
What’s the simplest way to perform a one-click/one-command full backup and restore on GrapheneOS? App-level backups exist, but they’re not very simple or convenient.

slaythenafs Then don't store important data on the phone if you are concerned this data might be a problem. Why not just keep the "important" data at home on a private cloud which you access remotely. Using certs created with a custom CA.

seedvault, the native backup app in settings, is the only option really, but from what i understand its not perfect and the phone will still require some re-setting-up

Primarily due to apps not following aosp requirements for backup.

When crossing boarders I leave my GrapheneOS phone at home or in a suitcase depending on where I go. I use an older iOS device, I reset it and I reinstall using their amazing solution. I really wish we had a similar robust backup solution on graphene. It’s my only major issue with the os. It’s far from ideal as it relies on Apple, but it’s the only solution I can reach to get an empty phone to become my phone once reaching safety. That fits my threat model much better than attempting to cross with a pixel and the following hassles of getting it working properly again. I must use iOS, macOS and iPadOS for work anyway, so that’s my caveat.
