“Allow Ente Photos to access more photos and videos on this device” pops up every time the window is in focus.

I use a Pixel tablet with GrapheneOS in Desktop mode. How can I completely prevent "Ente Photos" from accessing my photo library? The dialog box keeps popping up and is very annoying.

You can use Storage Scopes to give Ente "fake" access to your pictures (configurable in the Ente app settings in the GrapheneOS settings menu)

Settings > Apps > All num apps > Ente > Storage scopes

You can then add specific pictures in the Storage Scopes screen that Ente should see.
