Change resolution of external screen

Hello,
I wonder whether there is a way to check resolution and how to change resolution of an external screen connected by USB.
I've got 13" 3840x2400@60 screen and I would like to get at least 1920x1200.

I had the same issue. I tried the Desktop Mode on a my screen (a 27" 4K monitor) and the device only output Full HD. I thought that this might just be the highest resolution that it supports. Also, using an external monitor is not really that useful, so I don't mind. Could come in handy if I want to watch some series in a Hotel room some day, but apart from that, I don't have much use for it.

I'm using only a 13" screen but would like to get the best out of it.
I'm evaluating the option of GrapheneOS desktop mode, as it could be an excellent and useful feature once it is ready. Generally the proportions and sizes on the external screen are not quite right, but I expect that it will be fixed and polished.
I've noticed that the external screen does not go off when the phone screen is locked.
