I have read that when recording video in 4K at 60 fps, a write speed of 440 MB/s is recommended to avoid dropped frames, and I was wondering if perhaps the versions with more than 128 GB of capacity would have higher write speeds. For example, whether a 1TB version would be better in that regard than a 512GB one. If that's not the case and the maximum internal storage write speed is 403.08MB/s (regardless of capacity), then I'll be forced to buy an external hard drive to record video, which is something I wanted to avoid. If buying a 512 GB or 1 TB phone allowed me to record 4K video at 60fps without dropped frames and, in addition, such capacity improved the phone's performance, I would go for it without hesitation. But paying more for a 512 GB phone and then having to buy an SSD with very fast write speeds anyway to avoid dropped frames would not make sense.
I wonder what you would do in my place. I've decided to buy a Pixel, that's indisputable for me. The important thing for me is to be able to have Graphene, above and beyond recording video. So even if there were another brand with a faster internal storage write speed, I would still buy a Pixel. I just want something where I can install Graphene.
Once GrapheneOS is installed, it takes up a maximum of 15 GB, right? Apparently, you always have to leave 20% free to prevent the phone from slowing down.
