Biometric login not available in app in private space

I have all of my banking and other sensitive apps in the private space where I have installed the google play services. Specially to installed all those app from google play, as they are only available there.
Most of those apps support biometric verification, but whenever I try to activate it in the app settings', I get this message "Biometric login is deactivated: activate the biometric login in the device setting".

Biometric login is activated as use it to unlock my phone all the time, and the apps in the main profile (or personal space however is called what is not the private space) can use it, but somehow is not available within the private space.

I think the issue may be that the apps in the private space use the same unlock method as for unlocking the private space. The private space lock is set to "same as device screen lock", but if try to change this, the only two options I have are "PIN" or "Password", I cannot see a why to "activate biometrics unlock"

Does anyone know how to fix this?

You need to set up a separate set of biometrics (can be the same finger but set up separately). It's really stupid because then it also asks you for a fingerprint every time you start an app after the screen was off.

I already have several finger set up, but I never have the option to use biometrics for the private space unlock, only PIN and password. What am I missing? Could you provide some more details?

Private space settings -> Private space lock -> [ ] Use device screen lock

Private space settings -> Private space lock -> Fingerprint unlock -> set up a new* fingerprint

*can be the same finger as for the main profile but the system treats it as a separate piece of biometrics

I wish I could add some screenshots to make the process clearer. For future reference what I had to do is:
1- Go to Private space settings -> Private space lock -> and uncheck the option "Use device screen lock". Before unchecking this you can see the biometric unlock grayed out below.
2- Set a new PIN or password for unlocking the device, it can be the same used for the device.
3- Now the biometric unlock is available in the previous menu (Private space settings -> Private space lock).

I was missing to complete step 2. It is very confusing the process. To anyone following this, now I can use the biometric unlock in the apps installed in the private space. But now everytime you open an app from the private space after the device was locked, it prompts to use the fingerprint, which is fairly anoying, so choose your poison accordingly. kudos to @Viewpoint0232 . Thanks for the help!
