App pin OS level lock?

Hello,

I am not sure if this is a feature or no but I wonder if on GOS is possible to make certain apps lock behind a pin on an OS level when accessing.
The thing is that I saw some apps that are unlocked or logged in permanently without an aption to log out etc. by design (yep really stupid design) but that doesn't change the fact they are needed to some instance.

Is it possible to make them locked via specific pin on OS level similar to when you want to do something on OS then you have to put pin or your prefered auth method on the device?

Curious you can disable any user-installed app and enable them only when you need them. No pin though. Some apps do feature pin or fingerprint to lock them somewhat, but disabling in GrapheneOS is more absolute.

Deleting app data will force a logout.

It might delete other things too, so use caution. If there is local data you wouldn't want to lose.

Probably9857 I am not really sure about that in some really weird case:
There is an app that works as login app and as well as auth app(getting push-notifications when loggin on diff device), and when you wish to logout it will throw an error that you cannot logout because this app has active auth method set up.

So that is the issue, it is by design issue.
Thats why I am asking if there is an option to lock it on OS level under some diff mechanism than app iteself.

You can use secondary users, and the private space for this exact purpose, then not only are the apps just behind a pin, but they can be stopped from running in the background and have all their data governed by encryption and capable of being protected when at rest (logged out/session ended).

MetropleX Oh yea, that is actually true. I am not really sure about outcome but I might try private space.
Btw are also push notifications shutted off or have GP services to be installed in private space as well or they can be in normal space and still support private space apps that requires them?

Curious you need gps in both theyre isolated spaces.
