Pixel Camera Features on GOS?

I see commercials about the pixel camera and being able to edit photos, etc. Is this possible on GOS?

Hey there! Yes it is, but you'll have to install Google Camera.

matchboxbananasynergy thank you. I have installed the Google Camera, but do I need to also install Google photos? I can only see my photos in the native GOS photos app, even ones taken with Google Camera. If Google photos is needed, does that require an account or does it give Google access to my photos?

Yes, those features are part of Google Photos, and no, it doesn't need an account, or network permission, for that matter.

Keep in mind that some features won't be enabled if you don't install Sandboxed Google Play and give the apps network access for a while, as they depend on having some flags enabled by the servers:
