So here is the thing on my pixel 9, I have setup all apps that required play services in my Private Space and this seems to work well and give me the separation I want however, one thing still does not work and that is sharing my location via google maps with others. I can see my location just fine, I can see others sharing with me just fine however, when others except my invitation and look for me it says that I am Offline. I have tried giving private space every permission i can find, to include but not limited to :
Settings/Location:
"location for private space" on and off
Sandboxed google play Geolocation:
"reroute location requests to the OS" on and off
"Google Location Accuracy" on and off
App info Google Play services/permissions:
"location" Allow all the time - on and off
"nearby devices" Allow all the time -on and off
I have noted that under Settings/location/location services: that under "personal", Wifi scanning, Bluetooth scanning, Network location and geocoder are listed hoever, if I press the "private" button there is nothing just blank screen.
I have been trying different combinations of settings for a few days now but it always shows on the other phones as offline. Has anyone else tried this? with success? Am I missing some setting? Or is it just not possible on private space to share my location via google maps. Help please.
