Since you've been around this community for over 6 months, perhaps you may recall that we have a website with information explaining the point of our project. In case you missed the front page of grapheneos.org's about sub-section, No Google apps or services:
GrapheneOS will never include either Google Play services or another implementation of Google services like microG. It's possible to install Play services as a set of fully sandboxed apps without special privileges via our sandboxed Google Play compatibility layer. See the FAQ section for more details on our plans for filling in the gaps from not shipping Play services and Google apps.
So, to clarify the answer regarding your first comment:

GrapheneOS does not exist specifically to avoid Google or specifically avoid Google apps / services and point of the project has nothing to do with being against a specific company.
The purpose of GrapheneOS is providing a high level of privacy and security (substantially improving both from AOSP, see https://grapheneos.org/features.
As for your second comment:

Let's recap the clarification: The purpose of GrapheneOS is to combine providing a high level of privacy and security with great usability and app compatibility in a production quality device.

That has nothing to do with the purpose of GrapheneOS. It doesn't exist to reduce the amount of money earned by Google or other companies. For now, Pixels are currently by far the best devices for this and the only ones meeting our official requirements listed at https://grapheneos.org/faq#future-devices.
