9a pixel phone died

Hi,

Iam using the pixel 9a. (till now I had no problems)
About an hour ago my battery died and I connected it to my charger.
But now my phone doesn't start anymore.

I tried pressing the buttons for 10-15 sec. Then I get the warning screen, I wait till I need to enter my simcard pin.
After 2 seconds of the pin screen my phone dies again.
I didnt touch it yet and after it died the phone automatically tried to start again.
Same thing over: warning screen, pin screen and the phone dies again.

I had this for around 3 times.
Now it is dead again.

What now?

I hope someone can help me :)
(iam not very tech savvy)

littlemisssunshine ah you're phone isn't dead, but the battery is and doesn't have enough power to boot fully.

Here's the solution: when you get to the Yellow warning screen, press the lock button to pause booting. Wait 5 minutes while it charges and then unpause by pressing the lock button one more time.

But unfortunately I don't think this is the problem.

I did what you said and I saw that my battery is now charged 70%.
And after 2 seconds the screen went black again:(

I don't know exactly what happened but my phone is alive!!

littlemisssunshine it might take a few attempts. You could also try booting into safe mode: https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/2852139?hl=en#zippy=%2Cif-your-phone-is-off
