"eSIM setup through a link is not yet supported"

Hi there,

When trying to install an eSIM via the carrier app, I get this error message:

"eSIM setup through a link is not yet supported. Please contact your carrier for help."

Unfortunately, the carrier does not provide eSIM via QR-Codes. The only available option is the app.

The carrier app, Google Play Services, and Play Store are installed in Private space. eSIM support and DSDS are toggled on.

Carrier: ja! mobil (Germany) App: Ja! mobil 6.1.1 - All permissions granted, unlimited mobile data.

Please let us know if it works.
For Congster installing the App without Playservie in the owner profile is enough.
Ja and Penny have another app despite belonging to Congstar.

Install the app in the owner profile, let it install the esim and then delete the app.
They cannot do it from a private space.

phone-company You can't see the code. They just give you the app with a button saying "install eSIM".

What I did (in owner profile):
1) I installed Google Play + Play Store
2) I installed Ja mobil! App
3) turned off the phone
4) removed the physical primary SIM
5) turned on the phone
6) installed the eSIM via App
7) removed Google Play, Play Store, and the app
-> works. I am not sure whether you need Google Play.

I did the same with Penny and it worked!
I had to wait 1 hour until the e-sim loaded. What a thrill.
