Battery life saving mode?

Hi,

I know there are certain (root) apps that allow the battery to be charged only till e.g. 70%, thus extending its life (capacity).

Is there something like this on Graphene, just on OS level?
Would be nice, considering it is not trivial to replace battery on Pixels.

Yes.

Settings > Battery > Charging optimization

The only option is On/Off. "On" will limit charging to 80%. It will occasionally (_weekly) charge to 100% to recalibrate.

I believe this is an AOSP feature, not specific to GrapheneOS.

GOS devs wrote, that they might make the value configurable. I'd love to have this option, because I would charge the battery flatter. 65% to 55% is enough for me almost every day.
