yore I don't have any issue with the "emotional" part in communication either.

Liars and schemers knows their way around polished/corporate language.
Brilliant/honest people, more often than not, just don't know how to use that language.
GrapheneOS seems driven with strong personal ethics, people put some skin in it. If I were in their shoes, people asking for a spokesperson would feel like a lack of respect.

Off course everyone has to deal with his own emotions and sometimes regrets speaking too soon.
Other than that, yes please, give us "emotional"/honest communication.

Canardo_Sanchez I think it's more of a matter of delivery rather than respect. Though as I mentioned earlier they're still doing a fantastic job with transparency.

I have seen multiple times the attacks on the project stemming from people disliking/misunderstanding the delivery of the message hence why I think it may be good to address it. But I trust the team with that.

I just translated and read the article. It means being able to display a fake snapchat page while the device is being wipe, aka a decoy user partition which is a dream when being hacked but I don't have knowledge of such functionality on GOS?

he State pointed them toward the ‘criminal use’ angle. But honestly, it still ends up highlighting how strong GrapheneOS is. If a State-level actor admits it's hard to bypass, that’s basically an unintended compliment. In today’s climate, even negative attention from governments can turn into positive publicity. Just sharing my perspective no need to shout at me. Have a cup of starbucks coffee and chill.
