Hi all. I'm getting this notification from time to time (sometimes 2-3 times a day, sometimes rarer:
"GmsCompat - Action required in Play Store"
When I click on it, it says:
"Messenger
Do you want to update this app?"
The problem is that:
- I have disabled auto-update of the Messenger app in Play Store.
- Messenger is already up to date. It is not in the "Available updates", and there is no "update" button on the app's page in the App Store. Aurora Store also does not show any update available for this.
(I know that Aurora is not recommended and less safe. I am thinking about going back to Play Store, but now I just want to report this strange issue).
